Updates: Super Typhoon Maria Intensifies, Headed Taiwan, Japan

UPDATED: Maria, a powerful typhoon intensifies more and possibly become supertyphoon in the next several hours. With international name MARIA. According to JTWC, There is a possibility that this typhoon may become a SUPER TYPHOON CATEGORY based on their forecast track and possible winds from 245KPH up to 290KPH.

However, chances of landfall towards the Philippines is less likely to happen. With this weather disturbance, this may increase the habagat winds which will cause heavy rains and thunderstorms over the areas of Western Visayas and Luzon area. All are advised to continue monitoring for updates.
