The Low Pressure Area may develop into typhoon which will be named "Basyang". Typhoon Basyang may threaten to hit Mindanao and Visayas this week and it will bring heavy rainfall. If become typhoon, Basyang is the second typhoon in the country.
Typhoon Basyang (if become) is forecast to move west and may bring heavy rainfall that may cause flash floods and land slides.
