Powerful typhoon Lannie threatens to hit Luzon and Visayas this week which will bring heavy rainfall that may cause flooding and landslides. PAGASA warns residents near the shoreline to be ready for the typhoon Lannie which has the international name "Talim"
Tropical storm "Talim" will enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., packing maximum sustained winds of 90 kilometers per hour and 115 kph gusts. It will be given the local name "Lannie."
"Napakalakas nito," PAGASA meteorologist Aldczar Aurelio told DZMM. (This storm is very strong.)
