"A group of our own military army men were hit by our own airstrike. We lost 1 killed and 7 wounded," Lorenzana said in a speech in an event in Mandaluyong.
AFP Spokesman BGen Restituto Padilla said, the pilot of the SF260 warrior aircraft that accidentally killed 11 soldiers in Marawi will be placed under administrative control and will not be allowed to fly a plane from now on.
After the accident, AFP Chief of Staff Gen Eduardo Año created a board of inquiry to investigate the case.
