Updates: Surigao City shook by Magnitude 6.7 earthquake evening of February 10, 2017. The earthquake was felt in nearby provinces including Cebu and Cagayan de Oro.

The officials are scrambling rescue units to help and assess those who need help. There were reports of damages and injuries brought by the earthquake. Rescuers and volunters are in the area to assess and help. Huge damage is expected. Photos below.

The epicenter is in Talisay, Surigao City with M6.7 strength.
