Philippine aircraft drops bomb in town hall occupied by Maute terrorist group link to ISIS.
A day after the Maute Group occupied Butig, Lanao del Sur town center, the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ (AFP) Military SF-260 trainer aircrafts dropped 150-pound bombs over the municipal hall.
By replacing Philippine flag into ISIS hangs, Maute fighters have occupied the municipal hall, national high school and mosque. The Tactical Command Post in Lanao del Sur has also sent reinforcements to the besieged town. Troops, have also rescued two soldiers who suffered shrapnel wounds.
