Huawei P9 is expected to be out on April 6, 2016 making it the fifth version of the P series. There are reports that the device might come in several variants carrying slightly altered specs to fit the different smartphone markets it is targeting. If rumors are true, we may see a Huawei P9, Huawei P9 Lite and a Huawei P9 Max/Plus. Of course, the Plus model will feature a larger screen than the standard and Lite version, which are expected to come with 5.2 inches of display that manages a resolution of 1080p.
Under the hood, the Huawei P9 will pack a Kirin 950 CPU that houses 8 cores and a Mali-T880 GPU. Differences start coming in with respect to RAM, with the standard version expected to carry 3GB RAM whereas the P9 Max version will carry 4GB RAM. The P9 will also come with USB Type C charging with two 12MP sensors for better photos. Huawei will reportedly avail the P9 in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants.
